The Road Trippin’ Podcast wanted a large-format display for the open-air courtyard at its Arena location in Los Angeles, and Lumenous Edge got the call just one week before installation. The screen had to hold up in direct daylight and tie into an AV rack room that was still taking shape, which left little margin for error. With a new basketball court being finished in the same space, the job came down to fitting a precise installation into a site that was still changing around it.
Lumenous Edge designed and installed a 9'10" x 6'6" fixed LED display. The 768 x 512 canvas delivers 8,000 nits of brightness and a 7,680Hz refresh rate, driven by a NovaStar VX600 Pro processor over redundant data runs. Detailed power, data, and rack drawings let the general contractor prepare infrastructure ahead of installation, and an on-site spare parts kit supports long-term maintenance.
